Pretty much every event will require an APF. In addition, if you get SFAB/SOGA funding, you will need to fill out APF forms for each of your funding areas even if they aren’t actual events, such as robot development and onboarding.
The business team will be submitting a lot of APF Forms for the various events.

APF Forms can be a big hassle, so heres some general advice:
- Fill out the entire form in one session. It can be a rough draft, but get it submitted anyway. You can always make changes later, and the SAO/BOSO staff will let you know what you are missing.
- Make sure everyone needed is present. This may include the president, business lead, and others. You don’t want to need to wait on someone’s response to get the info needed to submit the form. Organize a time when all necessary people can be present.
- Submit early. The formal deadline is 2 weeks before, but it’s better to submit a more rough draft early than a more complete draft right at the deadline. You can always make changes later.
